A look at the new Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel

It’s finally here! Beginning today, you will have the opportunity to experience world-class luxury at the new Sheraton Los Angeles San Gabriel located at 303 East Valley Boulevard.

The Sheraton features 288 guest rooms and suites designed with amenities – such as a resort-style pool deck, luxury spa, a 24-hour fitness center and business center – and views of the San Gabriel Valley.

The new hotel also features a Sheraton Club Lounge, with access to complimentary continental breakfast, hors d’oeuvres, and evening beverage service.

To accommodate events, the hotel features 19,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 11,000 square feet ballroom. These spaces can accommodate small groups of 10-50 people all the way to large groups of 250-1,100 guests.

The entrance to EST. Prime Steakhouse

For dining, the Sheraton offers two signature restaurants: EST. Prime Steakhouse and Ba Shu Feng. The steakhouse offers USDA Prime Beef and seafood dishes while Ba Shu Feng will serve authentic home-style Sichuan cuisine. A Starbucks is also slated to open within the hotel in July.

Both the exterior and the interior of the hotel are inspired by art deco, with tall ceilings, marble, glass and metal. “We usually see art deco in a lot of downtown buildings in Los Angeles, and we’d like to bring that elegance to the city of San Gabriel,” notes Teddy Yang, Hospitality Operation Director for Hazens Investment. “We’re aiming to bring some translucency to the lobby, so when the light fills the room, it’s going to be gorgeous.”

The new Sheraton is expected to bring over $2 million a year in revenue from the transient occupancy tax. “Having a second luxury hotel in the city will benefit tourists and residents alike,” said Angelica Frausto-Lupo, Economic Development Manager for the city.
